Peter and Lindsey Dawes
Peter and Lindsey Dawes moved to the larger facilities at Fairoak Grange in 2002.
Lindsey is a Group 2 rider who competes at Prix St George/Inter I in dressage and is training Grand Prix. She regularly competes at Regionals and National championships. She has also successfully bred and produced young horse finalists and stud book inspected and mare performance tested mares at both the British Hanoverian Horse Society and the British Trakehner Verband.
She has trained with Suzanne Lavandera for many years but also trains
regularly with
Adam Kemp and occasionally with Jennie Loriston-Clarke. In the past has
benefitted from help from a variety of trainers including Mette Assouline
and Nicky Barrett. Lindsey is available for teaching and clinics at a
cost of £35 for a 45 minute private lesson or £30 for liveries.
Lindsey Dawes
She has her BHSAI, BHS Stage 4 Horse Knowledge & Care, First Aid certificate and child protection course. She is a BD show organiser for the sucessful dressage shows held at Fairoak Grange. She worked with horses for a number of years in England, the USA and Australia before qualifying as a practising solicitor first with Clifford Chance in London, Amsterdam and Singapore and then running the global training and know how programme for a major British energy company on a part time basis.
Peter works offshore for a major oil company and when home runs the farm and grassland management aspects of the business. He is an expert in health and safety and is continually working to construct and improve our facilities. They have two children, Michael and Melissa age 14 and 12.
