Performance Profiling

Complete a written performance plan with trained coach for a holistic approach to your riding goals. 45 minute sessions which can be complimented by shorter follow up session. Great to kick start your approach to the 2018 season! Best repeated at 6 month intervals to keep you on track.

2019 competition dates include test riding and My Quest. There are also more Riding Club shows and our usual BD shows Prelim to Advanced.

 

Central Region Coaching Rep

Lindsey is the coaching rep for BD Central Region. As such she organises various events for Coaches - keep an eye on our Facebook page and newsletters for up to date information


 

 

 

Competition Results

Clients training with Lindsey continue to do well. Successes include Regional, Area Festival, Winter and National qualification, as well as Bronze and MyQuest Leadership boards/finals. We have had winners and good placings as well as many riders gaining pb's and stepping up a level.

 

Melissa and Lindsey Dawes


Melissa Dawes and home produced Keystone Royal Chrystal finished 3rd at the Hartpury Winter Championships 2018, Area Festival bronze Finals at Medium plus they are qualified for Regionals at Medium and Advanced Medium and PSG at Area Festival Finals. She is studying Classics at Royal Holloway, Universtity and has an elite sports scholarship for the second year running.

 

Lindsey Dawes and Bluewood Tamsin qualified Elementary and Medium Regionals, finishing 10th at Medium in the summer, Advanced Medium Area Festivals Finals finishing 3rd and qualifying for Winter Championship Area Festival Finals. Already qualified Advanced Medium for Winters they are looking to step up to PSG in the spring.

Spencer Wilton clinics

Spencer had another amazing year winning a Bronze team medal at WEG at Tryon. We are very fortunate to run clinics with the 13 x National Champion every Tuesday afternoon. The cost £100 for a 45 minute private lesson. Email Lindsey to book in.

 

We also run clinics with Nicky Barratt, Suzanne Lavandera, Sue McMahon and Diane Thurman-Baker.

Melissa 3rd Hartpury Winter Championships, PP Medium Bronze

Qualified Medium Silver Regionals and PSG and Advanced Medium Bronze AF Finals

Lindsey qualified Tamsin Advanced Medium Area Festival Championship at Hartpury and is already qualified for Regionals at Advanced Medium

Emily gaining 70% Elementary and on Bronze leadership board - now starting Medium and qualified Area Festival Finals at Elementary and Medium

Emma coming 2nd at Area Festivals at Novice and qualified also at Elementary

Dee winning her Area Festival at Novice and Mallory also qualifying through at Elementary

Mallory gaining 70% Elementary and on Bronze leadership board

Emma/Lorraine and Kelly all selected for Senior Home International team and Emma finished 6th.

Lots of clients who qualified for Area Festivals many of whom are through to the Finals.

 

2017

 

Highlights include:

 

Becky Gibbons and Melissa Dawes through to Area Festival Final at Hartpury at Prelim and Medium respectively.

Delia Debenham through to the summer Nationals on Misty

Melissa Dawes - 2nd AFF and off to the Nationals at Medium and started competing/part qualified Advanced Medium. Also qualified Winter Regionals at Elem Music and Medium.

Area Festival Finalists included Emma Richardson 3rd, Amy Lovell, Becky Gibbons 2nd, Delia Debenham, Mallory Gibbons, Linda Robinson, Lorraine Whale, Niki Bown and Melissa Dawes 2nd.

MyQuest Finalists included Lorraine Whale, Niki Bown and Ali Middleton with Karen Robinson just missing the cut.

 

2016

 

It is hard to keep up with all the great results that are pouring in from Clients but here is a summary to end of March!

 

Steph qualified for four Regional classes with Inca and for Elem Music at the Winters

Mallory Gibbons and Mistie have qualified through Regionals to the Winters at Novice Restricted

Lindsay Kemble qualified Novice Restricted at the Regionals

Melissa started competing Nik at Medium with mid 60's scores.

Claire Marsden and Emily Evans have joined BD and started their Affiliated career with mid to high 60's scores

Sam Rees and Herbie have continued to rake in amazing prelim and novice scores up to 73% beating all the fancy warmbloods

Tracey Ashbee and Bear contested Prelim Regionals and are collecting more qualifying points

Ursula Treadgold and Billie are also collecting Prelim Qualifying points with scores up to 69%/70%

Natalie Gaibani and Hutch have been earning great Elementary and Medium scores and have developed half pass and a change

Louise Turner and Zonie have been getting PB's in the dressage phase eventing and in dressage

Barbara Sommerau and Daily have started contesting Mediums with good mid 60's scores

Clare Beswick and Amigo have started out at Elementary with high 60's scores.

Jackie Hubbard and 23 yo Mac made H&H for winning Prelim Qualifier with 69% and have most of their prelim qualifying points for Summers.

Linda Robinson and Chats are happily working and competing at Elementary and have qualified for Pet Plan.

Emma Richardson and 5 yo SeaSpray have been consistently out at Prelim and have started BD.

 

Best British Bred Mare Award 2016

Keystone Rhadiant, Roxy, won this coveted award presented at the National Convention for the highest placed British Bred mare at the Nationals.

 

2015

 

Lindsey and NikNak on good scores at Advanced Medium and PSG at Sparsholt.

Louise Turner on 11th place and finishing on her dressage score at BE100 Regionals

Carol Dogget on a succesful start to her BD career with good scores and points towards Regional qualification at Prelim

Barbara Sommerau and Daily on winning both Elementary classes on 29 August on plus 70% scores

Steph Kelly and Clare Beswicks' Incas Gold on their ticket to the National Dressage Championship at Novice Open following a 4th place at Sparsholt Regionals on +70% score.

Abigail Neal and Roxy on excellent Regionals placings, 4th Prelim and 5th Novice Restricted.

Melissa Dawes and Chrystal on a highly succesful summer winning the Home International Elementary Junior section in North Yorkshire and coming second at the Inter Regionals at Keysoe in C Squad.

Clare Beswick and Amigo and Barbara on Daily on good scores at Elementary and qualifying for Elementary Area Festivals

Louise Turner on good dressage scores (v low 30's) British eventing.

Samantha Rees on Regional qualification at Prelim.

Many local riders achieved great scores and placings at Tadley RC shows. These include Alison Middleton, Carol Doggett, Sally Oloff and many more.

Lissa and Stanley achieved 70% scores at their first Prelim.

Barbara and Daily achieved more pb's at Novice and Elementary with 70%+ scores.

Emilie Jarvis and Percy on coming 6th in their first ever dressage test at Prelim.

Melissa and Chrystal achieved numerous 70% + scores at Elementary and are heading to Area Festivals this year. They were also 2nd overall at Bryrds Inter Regionals.

Abbi qualified Roxy for Prelim and Novice Regionals and came 10th in the B Squad test at Byrds Inter Regionals at the College, Keysoe.

Steph qualified Inca for Novice Open Regionals, came 6th in 5 year old young horse class at Wellington Premier League and scored 75% in her first Elementary HC.

Chrystal came 7th and 8th at Winter Regionals in Elementary Open and Open Freestyle.

Marie Woodward competed in her first ever dressage test and was 3rd on 67%

Steph won both her first Novices on Inca with 70%+ scores

Barbara gained a pb of 67% at Elementary

Abbi won her Novices on Roxy on 75% and 69% scores

Claire W gained an excellent Elementary score of 68% in E59Q.


2014

Keri Rockingham-Smith and Samuel on their first Advanced test with nearly 70% and then following that with a great PSG debut for nearly 64%

Charlotte Mullins for an Inter I debut on over 66%.

Chrystal qualifies for Elementary Open at Winter Regionals on plus 75% scores. See H&H 7 August.

Chrystal, Sparrow, Samuel and Robin all qualified for summer regionals, prelim to PSG. Sparrow was subsequently sold to a lovely PC home locally.

1 March - Roxy won her first Novice class with 73% and Chrystal completed Novice Open Regional qualification with two more plus 72% scores.

Patchetts Regionals - Sandra Tizzard and DiMarco were 6th on 68.5% in the Advanced Medium Open class

Addington Regionals - Olena Hunt finished on 65.21% in the Elementary Restricted class

Kingston Maurward Regionals - Kim and Chrystal scored 69.43% in the Novice Open Regionals, fnishing 9th and Janet Zaremba finished 8th in the Novice Restricted Freestyle class.

10 Feb - Kim and Chrystal won both Novices at Snowball farm on 70% and 72.5%

3 Feb - Olena and Lea score 64.26% to start their Medium careers.

25 Jan - Kim and Mateus Rose, owned by Kat Blackler, won the Prelim at Merrist Wood with 68%.

13 Jan - Olena Hunt and Lea scored a PB of 69.11% at Wellington winning the Elementary Qualifier

11 Jan - Kim Seaby and Roxy won the Prelim at Crofton Manor with 74.5% and Melissa and Sparrow were hot on their tails with a PB of 69.5% kicking off their Regional qualification points for the season.

9 Jan - Silk won the Inter II at Step with 67%
