Fairoak Grange staff
Working with Lindsey and Peter on the yard we have an excellent team of staff as follows:
Head Girl Carrie Allen
Carrie has her BHSAI and joins us from Crosslanes Farm in Buckinghamshire where she was head girl for five years. She has trained with Vicky Thomson among others and also worked with Jo Herman in Belgium. She has an equine sports performance BA (Hons) degree from Buckinghamshire Chilterns University and is a CHA level 4 riding instructor.
She is a group 6 rider having competed up to Elementary and has represented England at the Home International.
Her aims are to continue training and obain her BHS stage 4 and intermediate
teaching certificate.

Allen Deputy Head Girl Charlotte Britton
Charlotte has her NVQ 2 and has many years of experience in livery yards and riding stables. She was a student at Merrist Wood College and enjoys jumping as well as dressage.

Lisa Kent
Lisa joined us in May 2009 and has an Equine Degree from Writtle College.
Lisa is working towards her BHS Stage III exams. She is highly organised
and computer literate and is therefore also our show secretary on our
BD show days.

Career opportunities
The younger grooms receive training towards NVQ and/or BHS qualifications. Grooms will often get the opportunity to compete, typically in dressage and showjumping, sometimes even at affiliated level (depending upon ability).
They also become involved in the range of activities at Fairoak including producing youngsters and organising competitions.
Grooms live on site in luxury purpose built modern accommodation.
