Working with Lindsey and Peter on the yard we have an excellent team of staff as follows:
Head Girl Beth Harding
Beth has considerable experience working with hunters, liveries and
young dressage horses. She has also worked with horses on specialist rehabitlitation
programmes and has her National Diploma in Horse Management from Warwickshire
College. She is now studying for her BHS Stage III horse knowledge and
care and has backed the two babies, Chrystal and Roxy whom we expect to
be competing in 2012.
Beth Harding
Corinne Hendrie
Corinne has a degree in history and politics and has her own two horses who she competes in dressage and showjumping. She is working towards her BHS stage 3. Corinne also has special responsibility in organising our competitions on show days.
Career opportunities
Grooms can receive training towards NVQ and/or BHS qualifications if required and in the past we have trained grooms to BHSAI and NVQ III level.. Grooms sometimes get the opportunity to compete, typically in dressage and showjumping, sometimes even at affiliated level (depending upon ability) and in the past have competed client horses up to Advanced Medium. Grooms have gone on from Fairoak to a variety of equestrian positions including other Advanced dressage riders and trainers, Schockemohle and international show jumper Paul Crago.
They also become involved in the range of activities at Fairoak including producing youngsters and organising competitions.
Staff live on site in luxury purpose built modern accommodation.
