From Foals to Dressage Horses

Over the years we have bred and produced a number of horses for the dressage market.

We have won Trakehner and Hanoverian breeding awards as well as top 3 placing at BEF young Horse Finals and produced foals earning higher first premium BEF scores as well as mare performance testing.

We typically breed from proven competition mares and love that this gives the older mares a second career. The yearling on the right was a DiMaggio/Weltmeyer/Lauries Crusader filly bred from a mare that was 3rd in the BEF Young Horse Championship in circa 2005.

Currently we have two youngsters from retired Grand Prix Trakehner mare Holme Park Silk (by Home Grove Solomon):

2016 Fairoak Daydream (aka Jessie) by DiAggio (DiMaggio/Florestan) who was backed in 2019 and lightly produced through 2020 starting at Prelim in September and aiming for Novice classes in 2021.

2017 Fairoak Fairytale (aka Buzz) by For Romance (Furst Romancier/SirDonnerhall I) who was backed in the summer of 2020 and will come back into work over the winter.

For Romance I was the VTV Oldenburg Dressage Stallion of the Year 2019 at the Oldenburg Stallion Licensing in Vechta, Germany,  2019.

This highly prestigious award is given to a licensed, Oldenburg stallion for his outstanding achievements in sport and breeding. For Romance I OLD, was born in 2009 by Fürst Romancier out of Gesina by Sir Donnerhall I – Don Schufro – Sandro – Gepard,

We are also producing 2015 Keystone Damon (Di Maggio/Weltmeyer) who is from one of the most famous mare families in the country having produced numerous advanced offspring including current Advanced Medium National Champion Keystone Diego and Grand Prix mare Keystone Darling.

Keystone Rhondeo (Rhondeo/AkzentII) mare (aka Roxy) is in foal to Trakehener Kaiserdom TSF due April 2021.

Roxy was herself Best British Bred mare at the British Dressage National Championships in 2016 and has 3 top ten National Championship placings from Novice to Medium.

Kaiser is an international Grand Prix stallion still sound at Grand Prix at the age of 20.  This continues our tradition of combining Trakehner bloodlines with proven German classical breeding.

Kaiser won the 6yr old Bundeschampion of the German Dressage horse. In 2012, Kaiserdom TSF won the State Dressage Champinships in Lower-Saxony, traditionally one of the toughest competition regions in Germany.
